About
Since 1981, RTE has been at the forefront of remote reefer monitoring, setting the standard for marine terminals and vessels worldwide. Our systems provide real-time insight into container temperature, alarms, power consumption, and other critical data—helping businesses boost efficiency, enhance safety, reduce claims, and cut costs.
Beyond monitoring solutions, RTE was the first to introduce reefer controller remanufacturing services for both intermodal and truck/trailer reefers—an offering that remains a key part of our business today. By extending the life cycle of reefer controllers, we help customers reduce costs, improve sustainability, and keep their fleets operating at peak performance.
With a track record of success, RTE has earned the trust of industry leaders, deploying solutions at over 100 terminals across 34+ countries and installing systems on more than 1,000 vessels. Headquartered in the U.S. with offices in New York and Panama, we also maintain a global network of agents and distributors to ensure reliable local support wherever it’s needed.
Our motto, “Rebuilding the Past – Developing the Future,” accurately reflects this commitment. Learn about what makes us different.
